Bureau Borsche designed the visual identity including logo, posters, and invitations along with the look and programming for the digital presence of Spazio Maiocchi. In a building with over 1000 square meters, Milan’s Spazio Maiocchi is a new social space where art, design and fashion blend to shape new cultural experiences. Originating from the convergence of founding partners Carhartt WIP and Slam Jam, Spazio Maiocchi is a cross-disciplinary ideas aggregator and house to the studios and exhibition spaces of KALEIDOSCOPE and Plusdesign, two of Milan’s most recognized organizations for contemporary art and design.

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2018, Spazio Maiocchi presents three projects eloquent to its unique interdisciplinary position at the intersection of art, design and fashion.
During Men’s Fashion Week in January 2018, with the support of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the entire surface of Spazio Maiocchi will be taken over by SHOWCASE, a collective presentation of today’s fashion avant-garde. Each module of the impressive former-industrial complex will be devoted to individual exhibitions by up-and-coming designers and brands, unprecedented artist collaborations, and transformative experiences. With SHOWCASE, Spazio Maiocchi forwards an alternative and innovative proposition for Milan’s role as a fashion capital, capable of aggregating a global network of creatives and engaging with a new-generation audience.
