We worked in collaboration with Kois Architects to create an immersive pavilion space for Raycap at the Light + Building expo, Frankfurt. Raycap are in the business of manufacturing industrial scale surge protection units to the international market. It was therefore key to create an engaging sensory space for them to showcase their products. We created a fluid and ever-morphing video installation which worked across 15 screens. The video was reminiscent of abstract weather maps, using flowing lines to create a subtle atmospheric backdrop to the pavilion space. This organic installation created a complementary contrast to the straight and static aesthetic of the architecture. In addition to this, we also created typographic light installations to adorn the structure as well as engaging product information panels to complement the space.
Fluid and ever-morphing lines create a subtle atmospheric backdrop to the pavilion. It reminds of very abstract pressure / weather maps and gives a nice contrast to the straight and static aesthetic of the pavilion architecture. There are elements of linear geometry to contrast to the ebb and flow of the natural lines as well as subtle more human aspects.
