Spike, a contemporary art magazine, was founded by artist Ms. Rita Vitorelli in 2004 to bolster vigorous, independent, and meaningful art criticism. At the heart of each issue are feature essays by leading critics and curators on artists whose work plays a significant role in the current scene. Reaching far beyond its editorial base in Vienna and Berlin, Spike is both rigorously academic and refreshingly essayistic.

Spike Art Quarterly
Novembre is an online and biannually printed magazine devoted to the products that make contemporary urban life exciting. Under the candid caption "Art practices, beauty & innovations", Novembre explores the worlds of art and fashion to challenge cultural trends and produce innovative imagery. While proposing intergenerational discussions that explore the power structures in which images and technology occupy decidedly ambiguous positions.
Bureau Borsche was asked to develop a new visual identity and online platform. The center piece of Novembre’s new visual identity is a custom lettering. A logo referring to classic serif typefaces of traditional newspaper headers and lifestyle magazines. Accentuating the flourishes, fluidity and swashes to elevate its overall uniqueness. In contrast to its organic curves and drops the logo is accompanied by a classic sans-serif typeface. To be used on the brand new digital platform and printed magazine.

The Face: born in London in 1980, the original, definitive style magazine. Reborn for 2019. Endless discovery for a new generation. Launched by Nick Logan in London in 1980, The Face is the original, definitive style magazine. From the beginning it was a cultural trailblazer, covering music, fashion, film, TV, society, politics and global current affairs. And it covered them with invention, innovation, wit and class – and not to mention with groundbreaking graphic design. Now, in 2019, The Face is reborn. A new team with a new vision for a new age, but proudly retaining the magazine’s founding vision and core principals. A forward-thinking, multi-platform title staying true to Logan’s pioneering spirit. The Face is back. Still original, still definitive. Endless discovery for a new generation.
